Date you joined CGI:

I joined CGI in April 2020 with the merger of SCISYS into CGI. I´m with the OpenMedia team since 1999, with a short interruption of 2 years. The company names changed through the years, but the product and the core team is still there and passionate as ever.

What do you like about being part of the industry?

It is quite a niche and the people which are in the industry for years and centuries are like a big family, instead of competitors. Many people know each other and are connected. Everybody is passionate to build high-quality broadcast solutions for our customers.

What is something people in your industry have to deal with that you want to fix?

Although the technical evolution in the industry with all the new tools and potential for improvement, I observe, that the people and especially our customers are still very conservative and there is a big need for change and transformation to business agility.
The second thing I see is the trend for fake news, disinformation and opinion-making instead of neutral journalism and fair discussions.

What are the values that drive you?

Fair and on-eye-level relationships with my team and customers, curious about new technologies and for personal improvement, reliability and integrity.

What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?

Regardful, fair, eager for continuously improvement
