VIDEO: Our Salesforce Consultants Give Back at GiveCamp

Anna Reilly

GiveCamp Pittsburgh is a hackathon where developers from around the region use technology to solve challenges facing numerous local non-profit organizations. Some of our Salesforce consultants participated in the recent GiveCamp event at WorkHard in the Allentown neighborhood of Pittsburgh, creating solutions for Rukmini Foundation, Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, Bach Choir of Pittsburgh and Holy Family Institute

Despite their volunteer role, the Summa participants took their tasks seriously. "Each team member worked 4+ hours more than originally scheduled to help deliver the projects, and the results were great," said Tom Hoffman, a Summa Salesforce Consultant with a passion for helping non-profit organizations. "[Summa Associate Salesforce Consultant Ike Nwokoye] postponed buying a car on Saturday and worked one-on-one to deliver the project for Holy Family and followed up with a nice documentation and training deck to support their Admin."
