If you are a Salesforce Admin, one of the most useful new features in Salesforce's Summer 14 release is buried in the middle of the Release notes and barely gets a single page: Improvements to Setup Search.
This helpful new feature takes the Setup Menu from being the index you flip through in the back of the book to a full blown search engine! Once enabled, you can do a text-based search for Custom Fields, Custom Objects, Custom Profiles & Roles, Permission Sets, Public Groups, Roles and Users.
Let's take a look at the difference this can make.
My org has a Custom Object 'Auto' with a field = 'Model'. Let's say I want to get to this field to make a change. With the regular Setup (which is still available, by the way!), I'd have to click Create > Objects > Auto > Model. Not a terrible burden, but it is tedious, especially if you have multiple customizations that you need to modify in a sitting.
With the new Setup Search, it's as easy as typing the first few letters of 'Model' in the search bar and hitting Enter.
While this feature isn't causing any seismic shifts like Salesforce1 or maybe File Sync, but it's a great addition to the toolbox for Admin's who keep their Orgs running smoothly.
Unfortunately, Standard Objects and Fields do not come up in search results in this release. It's also worth noting this feature is in Beta for Summer 14.

PS. Don't forget you need to enable this feature in Customize > User Interface > Enable Advanced Setup Search (Beta).
