I joined CGI through the merger with SCISYS in April 2020, before that I’ve been working for VCS / SCISYS since November 2006 with a short interruption of 9 months.
What do you like about being part of the industry?
I like most to help our (potential) customers find solutions for their requirements. This involves long technical meetings and discussions where we can establish a relationship with broadcasters. Since requirements vary from customer to customer, there’s not one single solution fitting for everything, which makes it very interesting to be part of this industry.
What are the values that drive you?
A respectful collaboration with customers and colleagues and the aim to establish long-term business relationships.
What is something people in your industry have to deal with that you want to fix?
The demand for more online formats is increasing combined with the requirement to keep the “old-fashioned” ways of distribution. Broadcast divisions and teams are merged and broadcasters are faced with budget cuts for infrastructure projects.
What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?
Hopefully, they would describe me as reliable, diplomatic and open.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Spending time with the family, my kids and friends, making music and playing beach volleyball as often as possible.
