What do you like about being part of the industry?

As an IT consultant - having the opportunity to find and develop solutions forever new and interesting challenging tasks with different clients from different industries. This has always promoted my own development and given me new impulses. It is exciting for me to now be responsible for a product development and to move in the media industry.

What are the values that drive you?

To always be curious and to keep an open mind for new things. To show respect and trust in others. To let them do what they want when being convinced that it is right. Only in this way can something develop. Reliability and professionalism with a very high-quality standard, externally and internally.

What is something people in your industry have to deal with that you want to fix?

News production is in a state of upheaval. Traditional TV with its fixed formats is losing importance and new formats are appearing. For the news consumer, it is increasingly difficult to find the relevant information in the news jungle. With the modernization and further development of our CGI product OpenMedia, I would like to contribute to the successful and sustainable further development of digitalization in news production for our customers, so that they are able to provide news consumers with timely and flexible relevant information for their opinion formation.

Open, humorous (I hope) and not always punctual (working on that)

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Besides business, I love working in my small vineyard and helping my wife with gardening. Working in and with nature grounds you and gives you a sense of achievement. I enjoy culinary discoveries and am not averse to a good wine. As far as sports are concerned, I like to jog regularly, preferably in the vineyard.
